Interview with David Byrne

  1. Tell us a little about Nexora Technologies and how it started.
Nexora was founded out of a simple idea: businesses were drowning in repetitive processes that technology could automate intelligently. My co-founder and I wanted to create solutions that freed people to do more meaningful work.
  2. What has been your biggest break in business so far?
Landing a partnership with one of Europe’s largest banks was huge for us. It validated our product on a major scale and opened doors across multiple sectors.
  3. What’s been the toughest challenge you’ve faced?
Managing rapid growth. When demand exploded, we had to scale our team and infrastructure almost overnight. It tested everything — leadership, culture, and operations.
  4. What do you believe is the single biggest driver of your success?
Relentless curiosity. We constantly ask, “What’s next?” and stay a few steps ahead of the curve.
  5. How would you describe your approach to business philosophy?
Solve real problems. If you're solving genuine pain points for your customers, the rest — sales, loyalty, growth — will follow.
  6. What's one piece of advice you would give to your 25-year-old self?
Don’t rush. Build slow and solid foundations, both in your skills and your business relationships.
  7. How do you keep yourself motivated?
Working with brilliant people. Every day, our team teaches me something new — it’s incredibly energising.
  8. How do you define success today?
It’s less about financials now and more about impact — the impact on our clients, our team, and the industry.
  9. What's the best advice you ever received from a mentor?
"Be bold, but be ready." It’s not enough to take risks — you have to prepare to handle the outcomes, good or bad.
  10. What key habit helps you succeed?
Structured learning. I allocate time every week to study something new — whether it’s a technology, a business model, or a leadership principle.
  11. Who is a business leader you admire, and why?
I have huge respect for Patrick Collison of Stripe. He’s a visionary who built a global giant while keeping innovation and humility at the heart of the business.
  12. How important are networks like Spark Business Network to entrepreneurs like yourself?
Critical. Trusted networks like Spark give you real connections with people who understand the journey — it’s about knowledge-sharing, not just networking.
  13. In what ways could you help fellow members of Spark Business Network?
I can assist members with advice on digital transformation, AI strategy, and how to effectively scale technology-driven businesses.
  14. In what ways could your fellow members of Spark Business Network help you or your business?
Introductions to business leaders looking to streamline their operations with AI and partnerships for co-innovation projects would be extremely valuable.
